SmileAngel Children’s Hospital was founded in Beijing, China on May 27th, 2012 by 8 generous individuals including Mr. Li Yapeng and Ms. Faye Wong, who later became our board members. As the first and the only privately-founded non-profit children’s hospital in China, we are the collaborative efforts of generous and responsible individuals and corporations. Since our founding, we have offered high-quality medical services to almost 100,000 children, and have conducted free cleft lip and palate (CLP) surgeries for 1696 children from economically disadvantaged families.

In order to fulfill our goal to be a child-friendly hospital, we passed the JCI credential that is the most recognized international medical standard and initiated “Art in Hospital” and “Education in Hospital” programs to bring happiness for children, especially the ones with CLP and other birth defects.

Beijing SmileAngel Children’s Hospital covers 5000 square meters, possesses 50 multi-functional beds, 4 modern operating rooms and offers exceptional medical services with its internal medicine, surgical department, Chinese medicine, ophthalmology department, ENT department, dental department and craniofacial center.
